I was a bit disapointed in what he did on Blue Peter, as I am sure his adventures around the world with hats would have been far more interesting, as his book is a fabulous record of bringing the joy of balloons to some of the most outlandish situations.

However on a TV show, and especially as a visitor, perhaps he was "guided" by the production team to show what they wanted rather than what he is capable of.

I had the pleasure of being at one of his lectures, and seeing his work at one of the Millenium Jams, and do not feel he did himself justice on this showing, but I do not think it was his fault

I agree Phoenix, They could have spent much longer talking to him about balloon modelling and his travels.
I loved the 'food-scapes' that was cool.
