Title: Scrap Heap Challange
Post by: Kenny on May 20, 2010, 04:41:19 PM
Hello Everyone.

This a great new Challenge for you all to try.

You would make a sculpture from all your scraps. It's a good way to use up all those scraps and also to create something wonderful.

The challenge starts now the 20 th of May and will finish on the 20th of June.

The only rule is ...that you have fun with this challenge :D

Pinchtwist (Kenny).

So this will finish on the 20th of July.

Hope to see someone have a go. :)

Hi Kenny

I do like to have a go at fun stuff like this, and Sunday I am at a Teddy Bears Picnic all afternoon, and have a delivery of party balloons for 23 kids and a Ben 10 for the Birthday Boy.

Guess I will have a lot of scraps available :o

Will see what I can do.

Hope you are well, and wishing you all the best

Hi Thelma,

I did not mean all your scraps. Just as many as it takes to make your Design. ;)

I love the bracelets.  My daughter makes tons of them with all my scraps, then sells them at our street fair.  They are very popular.

Hi all.

I was asked by a few people to extend this challenge for a bit longer.

So I will close this challenge at the end of the month.

Arrrgh!  I just found this thread, and I missed the contest!  I have buckets of scraps, just waiting for something like this!

I brought along a 5-gallon bucket of scraps to my workshop in St. Louis last month, and let people fill up grocery bags with whatever they wanted.  I might make that a regular thing...
