I posted this Winnie the Pooh for a challenge thread over on The Balloon Artistes Guild
Facebook page. I then started to try and make a more real world line work design.

There are not that many Winnie the Pooh designs that I have seen.

I started off with this one as a first go and although the design is probably OK.
The red jumper needs to be wider, its still not really a real world line work design.

So two balloons for body and legs is what we were looking for.

First picture was too wide at the top for the lower golden rod where it attached
to the red jumper. Plus the legs and lower body were made from two
balloons and I wanted then to be made from just one.
The jumper was from a 260 red.

Second picture the lower golden rod to legs was not wide
enough as Pooh is a little cute and cuddly/chunky.

Third picture I made spacer gaps at the bottom of body and was still
using loops for feet. The lower body was still from two balloons.

I tried the jumper using a 160 and liked it straight away
and used 160 for thumb and hands.

The pinch twists on the first picture are not meant to be his ears.
I make the 4 bubble roll through with pinch twists at either end and then push
those inside and hide. I find it all holds it shape better this way. It was the
nose and mouth section I was trying different on these two pictures.

The bridge at the top of nose did start off under the nose as the mouth but did
not look right to me but turning it upside down seemed to work better.
And then there was a space between the eyes.

So this is where we have ended up so far,
I tried a different nose configuration on the last picture.

The face on the smaller designs still needs a little tweaking.

The whole family together. I might try the face again later today
to see if we can get a more Winnie The Pooh look.

Some more Pooh's, the last one is what we are going with.
Will try to get a more pronounced tummy if we can.

This was going to be the final design till I went to post it last night and had another thought.
Sometimes thoughts can be dangerous  ;D

So another variation coming soon.

I changed his middle tummy section and then the back of one of the bodies is different.
Before you had to manipulate the legs so he would sit up, with the new body he sits
ok straight away but does not look as good when you look all the way around.
Have to decide which way to make when I do the tutorial.

I saw a Winnie the Pooh on Facebook by Takehiro Kai and it got me back onto making another Winnie the Pooh myself.

I made another version yesterday morning, it's the Red T shirt that is not quite right at the moment.

I'm sure on some you will need to look twice to see a difference.
It's quite difficult to get the look for Winnie The Pooh, well I'm struggling with it.

The last three I made all together. Added a Honey Pot as my daughter wanted to give this design to her friend.
