I have been asked to do a walk through balloon arch & have been pricing buying ready made frames with bases but these are proving very costly.  Can you all tell me what you use or if you've made it yourself how you went about it? :-)

Have you tried the search button?, there might be a few threads that may be of interest here already on this subject.

depends on what you are doing and where

if you dont want to use a frame, inflate you balloons with helium and use a line

I was wanting to use a frame so I don't have to use helium.

Sorry but it depends on how big an arch you wish to make and how many you are looking to make with it in the future...

And where you are going to use it...

Inside
Outside
With lots of footfall
against a wall
Lots of children around
etc etc

You have to take all the risks into account...

Qualatex have just brought out the New Aeropole system
you can see it at //http://www.aeropolesystem.com
at £245 + vat its an investment
and I am sure if you want one Graham can get them for you via his qualatex site...

It will serve you well for many years with archways both inside and out.... If I was looking for my first arch frame its where I would buy

its great that the industry finally has an carbon fibre flexible arch frame product that can be used in many sizes and events that it can recommend to professionals when not looking to use helium.

I second the Areopole system.

It is an investment but well worth it if you plan on doing decor work more than a couple times.

Hi I too am looking at investing in the Areoplole system, but I beg to ask a question of those of you that may already have used it:

For such a costly investment, what would / do you charge for deposit?

Would you only utilise it if the Venue / cost merits it?

Thanks in advance.

Can you make one with QLinks? Then you won't need a frame.
