I have been asked to put feathers into 3ft balloons, can anybody please give me some advice on the best way to do this and also what kind of feathers should I use?

Would feathers in a 3ft balloon not just fall to the bottom and not look too inspiring? Could you not use some bubble balloons and cut the seam to add feathers into a design inside the bubble balloon. Mind you I'm not a decorator and I'm sure I will get sent a few pictures showing some amazing balloons with just feathers inside. 5" balloons, feathers and lights would look magical.
