Balloon Review 116 : Planes by Patrick Van de Ven PDF

Available from Patrick's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ballonkunstenaar price 5 euros via paypal (I paid 10 euros as it is worth it!)

This is Patrick's 2nd PDF and I believe he is working on a 3rd! This design is based on the popular movie Planes.

This PDF can be purchased by messaging Patrick via his facebook page. Delivery via email was instant.

Let's see what we have here...

This PDF comprises of 16 pages of clear instructions with plenty of full colour step-by-step photographs. The bubble sizes are given in inches. This design looks very impressive yet is fairly simplistic in design. At first I was worried that the way the eyes attached to the body would appear a little odd but you will soon discover that the method is an integral part of the model and is used to hold everything together.

There are three pages dedicated to drawing the artwork. I am not so good at drawing so I designed my own stickers which you can freely use for your own planes. A simple switch of colours and you instantly have two characters from the popular movie.

I cannot underestimate the quality of this design. Just posting the design on my facebook page generated four orders from customers.

This is a short review but I believe the finished product speak for themselves.

Buy this.

You need to experiment with the eyes.  I printed these eyes onto a4 white sticker paper zoomed in at 135% - fits fine on the 350q eyes.

Here's a Dusty Hat, using the concept from the PDF.
Next attempt will have a Robin's Egg Blue as the 160Q going across.
