This is my first purchase from the Twister Cookbook. I have wanted to try this dragon for some time now and purchased it this morning. The amount is small for a good looking design but let's take a closer look.
The bubble sizes are explained well and result in a product that looks as it should. My main criticism is the lack of detail with inflation sizes of each balloon. Much of this is guess work and can be a little frustrating if you get it wrong. The instructions are sufficient for the more experienced twister but lack some detail and explanation for those less practiced.
There are some interesting and useful techniques used in the design but I was not as successful as Justin when getting getting the shape in the wings using shock twists.
When alsaid and done, this is a good looking design and once familiar with inflation sizes, should be fairly quick to put together. Whilst it does not stand on its own, it would be great attached to a column or cake for a delivery piece or birthday special balloon.
I did not stick to the colours suggested and think hat this would look great in red (but then I do love a red dragon)
If you are looking for a nice dragon and you have some experience behind you, then this is a good design for the price.

Following Stuart's review (and the link), I went ahead to purchase the PDF file and made this baby dragon. I saw the instruction at the beginning that balloons to be inflated with 7" tail, so i did that, and it was ok.
The only comment I have for this PDF file is that there was a typo throughout, "tale" instead of "tail" but i guess it is not critical :)

Love it in red. :D I did spot the 7inch tail comment at the beginning but then inflation sizes for the remainder are lacking. Perhaps hey are all to be 7inch tails (legs, body, head). I shall try that the next time I make him. :)
