What types of twists are there and how do you do them?

Pinch
Tulip/Apple
Etc Etc....

What types of Balloons are there and what are they used for?

160s
260s
Hearts
Etc Etc...

How do you twist a knot together with a section of balloon?

Why do my balloons feel so .....Full? I'm letting a bit of air out and leaving a bit at the end but the balloons feel sooooooo full. I can do a six petal flower with 160s, but 260s just don't feel right, they're over inflated and seem to pop quite often?

Is there anything else that seems really obvious to you now that maybe wasn't so obvious when you were starting out?

Perhaps we could have a section for newbie questions like these?

Hi Milo,

Full balloons; try this, just before twisting off a bubble, give it a squeeze so your softening each bubble as you go along. That's in addition to burping (letting a bit of air out) and a tail at the end. The more twists you will make in one balloon, the more unflated length you will need.

Obvious stuff, practice - waste balloons. Get some books or DVD's and work your way through them, go to care and share days or other jams.

hope that helps
