Will be adding approx 16 instructions for explaining varying twists etc for balloon twisting.
This one was taken from some lecture notes that were written a couple of years ago.
If you put more balloon onto the pump before inflating this will give you more balloon to
play with & tie so hopefully making it easier for you.

Thanks Graham for all those wonderful tutorials. Is there a chance to get those lecture notes in printed form?

These were taken from my very first set of lecture notes, which may still be on my computer somewhere.
Will have a look and may possibly post the rest onto the forum.

Hi is there any little gadget that I could use to for tying balloons as after about 2 hours on a job my fingers are really sore.  Thanks. Lisa

There is a balloon tool that I believe decorators use, and I use it when making big stuff at home, but for line work it really does slow you down.  I have to confess that after I had a busy weekend, then done a big display my fingers were raw, so I did use it the next day for the next gig.   But normally over time your fingers do get used to it.

Here's the tool I used

Hope that helps

You can also set up 3 nails/screws onto a small block of wood to do the same job.

hello try to pull the balloon just around one finger and push your tumb finger by the balloon circle! (i hope my english is well :) it works great. With this technique you can knot balloons  and your finger feels good
