This can be either a space gun, machine gun or even a hair dryer. Both the balloons were inflated to around 3 fingers un-inflated.
Once you have made the three loops to carry on with the slace gun or machine gun you would just make an extra large loop from the remainder of the 260 balloon. But if you want a smaller gun or possibly a hair dryer just push the remainder of the 260 through the loops as in the second picture here.
With the second balloon carry on as per the pictures. I do stretch this balloon before inflating and also when the balloon is inflated just pull the balloon through your hand with some friction to warm the balloon up, this will stretch it up to an extra 3/4 inches longer (75-100mm)
Carrying on;
Have the space gun with the bigger loop over the wrist or arm area;
For a different look it easily turns into a machine gun, put the bigger loop over the top of the smaller loop resting between loop two and three.
The second balloon that comes through all three loops needs a pinch twist close to the last loop to help the overall shape of the gun.
The blue bubble in the above post second picture number 14 needs to be pushed into the last loop once the last part of the handle has been wrapped around this bubble to again help the shape of the gun for the overall look.
Hi Graham.
Great Gun. The kids love this one.

It's nice to know that it's of use to someone, I still prefer my other two balloon machine gun but this is more space type and less threatening in the PC world we live in.
Hi Graham
You are talking about your other gun , is it the one you posted in the Esquire Magazine Shoot post?
thanks
Super cool, I like the fact that you can make a few different items with that design.
I had to laugh......... because it reminded me of tuberware. I wonder if you all have that product over there. Most likely do. Anyway, neat stuff Graham

Yes that's the one, well spotted. Just off out to do a balloon modelling gig all day so will try and find a picture of it and put here later on, if I forget can someone remind me, cheers.
Hi Graham.
I use this gun a lot of the time aswell. I came up with for a magic trick one day. It shoots aswell.

Hi Graham,
I'm having troubles with this machine gun :x , I can't get to make the third small loop otherwise I end up to short for the big one. I tried several times (making the loops smaller, pulling before to inflate...), but nothing works so far. Well it still looks nice with two loops, but I really would like to do it as it is shown.
thanks
Julien
Glad you like the gun, it's only two loops around though, so hopefully you have it. Can you post a picture for us to see?
the first gun looks like 3 loops to me graham :?
Julien it could be that Graham used a Sempetex 260 witch have extra length
I clicked thru to the esquire gun which has the two loops, the space gun is three loops so really pre-stretch the balloon and then when you inflate the balloon stretch it again, you will probably then end up with four loops then :)
Nice. I had a go and I did it, Thanks graham great instructions. :D 8-)
I got it :D :D

thanks for the instructions

My little one Brandon loves this model. He worked out himself the more twists he puts in the handle the louder the bang.

Love it graham.
If you leave the loop down and insert the stock/barrel from the other direction you've got an instant Tommy Gun.
I'll be using this. Thanks!
I like all the variations you have done.
I made this at my friends sons birthday paty, all the boys loved it!
Great gun, ive been calling it a super soaker... Thanks very much
I love this and have used the first part for ray guns and hair dryers quite a bit. I was twisting in Louisiana one time and a lady bet me I couldn't make an armadillo.... Picture 5 on your tutorial minus the handle and with eyes on it tickled her to pieces. Even got me a $5.00 tip. Thanks for what you do.
Very nice design ;)
