Hi All.

These instructions are put up as a request from Professor T Wist. I have never done anything like this before, so I hope you can follow my ramblings :D

I hope also this will be of use to a few others. This is not my design, it was shown to me at a care and share day, so credit should go to the originator, whoever they are. I do not know where it came from :?:

Here goes

STEP 1
Firstly make 2 "wishbone" shapes by making a fold twist in the centre of 2 260's (Alien instruction 1)
The balloons should be fairly soft.

STEP 2
Then with the balloon you want to be the legs, bring the two ends over and through the loop to form the shoulders, waist and legs. (Alien instructions 2)

STEP 3
Next thread the legs through the loop of the "arms" balloon (Alien instructions 3)

STEP 4
To make the arms, thread the end of each arm balloon through the waist of the first balloon. It should come out between the waist and the shoulder (Alien instruction 4) This is why the balloon should be a bit soft.

Once the arms are through, pull everything tight, and twist some hands

Alien instructions 5 and 6 show the back and front views.

STEP 5
The head is then twisted into the cross at the joint of the shoulders and waist of the first balloon, and set niceley between the shoulders (Alien instructions 7)

This is the completed alien. Obviously embelishments could be added (feet, ray gun, breathing cylinder back pack etc etc) but this is the basic form, as requested

Have fun, and I hope everything was clear :D

The other photo is a fun thing I make using the same basic body. Hope you enjoy :D :D :D

Hi Phoenix.

I actually had to learn that style of twisting myself. I spotted a pic on a chinese website a few years back and it took me ages to figure it out

It also makes a great michelin man :D

Very clear instructions.

Kenny.

these are excellent. I will have a play with that design and see what else can be made.

Cheers for the instructions. Very useable.

[quote="Pinchtwist"]Hi Phoenix.

I had tried to work it out myself but struggled, I asked for a hint and Phoenix posted excellent and complete instructions.
Sorry to disappoint at not doing it all alone but it does appear I am not alone in likingthis body style and meny have now benifitted from me asking
