The care & share day will be going ahead as usual the day after the Magic convention, although it's called the Bristol day of magic on Sunday 13th May it is actually held in Weston Super Mare. I will be doing a short 30 min lecture during the magic day if anyone is about as it's always nice to see a few friendly faces.
I still need to book a venue for the care & share day, normally Avonmouth WMC but I'm having trouble contacting them at the moment.

Is anyone travelling down from London on the day? I have someone who is looking for a lift.

We are just setting off for Bristol as we do the Bristol day of magic tomorrow that is held in Weston Super Mare. They are as good as me with my days being just outside places but mine are not 30 odd miles away, he he. I'm doing a small lecture tomorrow afternoon and then we will go and watch the magic show in the evening, I love watching magic shows. Looks like we will get a good crowd for Monday and there is still time to come along if you have not booked, just £15 for the whole day so possibly a bargain. Don't forget to bring your own balloons with you and pump, bin liner and cream cakes.

I'll be there on Monday we could have all the c&s days in Bristol (lol) it would be great for me

We had a fun time with plenty of last minute excitement due to a venue change at the last minute due to no one turning up to let us in at the working mens club. I had a quick run around to the big pub we go to for a meal after and they had a small room and then said we could use one of the bars and closed it to others so that we had sole use, very nice as last minute and very much appreciated. It was a bit hectic as we were at the original venue just after nine to sort things out and set up for the day and it was nearly 10.30 by the time we got into the pub and started. We never got straight the whole day as this was one of the busiest care & share days for a while with 32 people attending with a few new club members joining as well. I will put the pub details up when I get a few minutes as I need to catch up with emails etc while being away for a few days at the magic convention and balloon day and it looks like I'm off tomorrow as well for a couple of days filming, no peace for the wicked as they say.

What a way to start the day! Glad it all turned out well in the end. Twistopher and I were hoping to attend but after a really hectic working weekend, I was not feeling too good. I think I picked up a bug from one of the kids, I distinctly remember one sneezing all over me
