Posted a link on Qualatex Facebook regarding the competition. I will do my headband over the next couple of days

I've been working on a couple of headbands over the last few days to enter into the competition. This is my first attempt, but the second version. I originally intended to have Buzz flying therefore creating movement, but whilst this works in the 'flesh' photo's of this position just don't work. So anyway after all that expo...

Here is my trio, for headbands challange.

I have only been twisting for 6 months (and i'm only 12) but this prize is so insane i am going to attempt to complete all 4 challenges. I don't have Facebook, so i cant do that part of the challenge... Is there something i can do instead to be eligible???

Nothing groundbreaking here :|

first, a lightning headband, i was originally trying to make a waterfall... but it looked more like rainclouds so i decided to make lightning instead. I couldnt figure out a way to attach the lightning to the headband without a 6 petal base. I think it would have looked better without a base... but at least my sister recognised it.. as a storm

Next a octopus, my favourite of the 3... i cant remember who's design this is.. but i like it. I even managed to get a 8 petal base using 260's (after a lot of popages and rearranging of the petals). I used a lady bug imprint for the "body"

Finally a typical heart headband... easy... but my little sister's favourite

Right I have been away for a long time due to extra work load since Oct but I have found this just in time ny the looks of it, I will rack my brains and get something up before the 10th :-)

I Tawt I Taw A Puddy Tat. A new design for the new year, and came out better than I had hoped too.  

I love the rain cloud design !!!  Great work there!!




Edit: Oddly enough I do not have a single headband...... I will have to adapt !!!

Yes just to confirm you do not need a headband to enter just make something to wear on the head, you could attach it to an un-inflated balloon so it fits on someones head.
The rules here are very flexible so that hopefully we get a good few joining in.

I was looking to see if we could hurry this competition along a bit, not to much. I come back from Twist and Shout on the Wed 5th Feb and thought this would be a good time to finish.
So there is plenty of time to enter all four competitions but it will not go on for too long.

Competition two is,
2, what is your funny balloon modelling experience, sad balloon modelling experience, marketing tip? What works for you. Funny joke line while balloon modelling.

So you need up to 4 answers for the above, you can enter one but will get brownie points for more, as they say the more the merrier.
Shall I start a new thread for Competition two?

PS, We also need something for Competition four, how about a "Buster Balloon" balloon model or variation on a model that Buster has made?
