We got home about 11.30 last night and by the time we unpacked I was zonked! (Is zonked a word?) Maybe shattered then.
What to say, you think that one day the days will not be as good as previous but not so far, it seemed to be great fun and even Paul enjoyed it so that is a bonus.
Thanks to Antonio, Pam and Paul for all their hard work and Lyn as well managing the store, off to make up the orders we missed while being away and then I will add some pictures later hopefully, Dave just post the pictures here on this thread. I will do a proper thank you later on  :D

What a great couple of days away :) , meeting lots of new friends and catching up with some old ones. Many thanks to Pam and Paul, Antonio, Robbie and of course Graham and Lyn. After remembering to actually bring a camera with me this time, I am hoping to put some pictures up of the days.

I had the pleasure in working with the now multi-award winning Colin (see I can drop names with the best of them ;) ), for the first few designs during Pam and Paul's class. We made a tree  :) well we thought it was just a tree and then we turned it underwater by adding a fish and an octopus. In fact thinking about it now the tree we made together in the morning impacted on our whole day. Who could have guessed that later on Colin would his prize winning chainsaw, which was then used to cut up my stick :(  :(. For some reason I haven't been able to turn these few around, but if you look at them with your head to the left at 90 degrees they look straight ;)

There are always stars wherever you go and the Giraffe in the third picture seems to be sucking up all the limelight, just wish I had taken more pictures from the first day.

THANK YOU

Antonio for your amazing day, sorry I was drifting at times, but we had such a ball day one I got tired!!!

Apologies for leaving John and Robbie out of the earlier thank you post I made,
it's been a long three days and I have just loaded over 400 pictures from the event onto the computer to re-size and then post onto the forum.

So thanks to Robbie and John for making the Tuesday evening a fun session, I loved the one hand each game, it was a lot of fun.

Another thing I forgot to mention at the day and was a little annoyed as I felt everyone should be aware of this was that Antonio did not take his full fee for the event. Instead he bought a full set of David's DVD's so that he could contribute some money to the Grist family. All monies raised from the sale of David Grist DVD's are donated to Vanessa. So apologies that I forgot to mention this at the day, I will also post this on facebook so that hopefully the majority who attended will be aware of this as I thought it was a lovely gesture.
There are just so many lovely people in this funny old balloon world of our's.

I started to sort the pictures out and I think this one captures the seriousness that we all take at the days,  ;)  :D
I was chuckling away to myself.

So back to serious matters? Well probably not but some pictures form the days, it will take me a week or two to post them all.
Paul set the room so that he was on the floor, I eventually persuaded him, some may say told him to use the stage. At the end of the event he did mention
the stage was the correct setting for his and Pam's lecture/workshop so that was nice.

I would like to mention that Qualatex Balloons/Pioneer Europe sponsored the two day extravaganza, so many thanks, it is always appreciated.
In fact it is the end of sponsorship for this coming year although we are still chatting about the possibilities of the sponsorship continuing so fingers crossed.
I loved Amanda's rubik cube handbag, very nice.
