Ballooning International Meeting

Les Tontonballons, the French Balloon Connexion and all ballooners have been disappointed when they heard that there would be no meeting in France for the year 2013. We have decided to remedy the situation and, with the help of Marie-Anne, Philippe and ABC, create BALLOONAPARK.

The BALLOONAPARK event is an international meeting intended for professionals as well as beginners. The courses deal with decoration, entertainment structures, structures to be created with children, and techniques such as weaving, flat weave, pinch line...

The courses consist of master classes, tutorials and worshops on parade items.  One of the features of the meeting is to exhibit  during the town festival (24-26 May 2013) all  the items that will have been made.  

You will also have the faculty to  improve  your abilities in the JAM room, enter the competiton or be member of the jury and have some refreshments.

There will  be present some experienced ballooners  ready to share their  knowledge  :

Pascal grooten will be with us with his workshop "From linework to masterpiece"

Description: In this workshop I want to move from traditional basic designs towards masterpieces with special attention of detail, colour, size and proportion .Learning different techniques you will be able to create eye catching designs. Also the use of a variety of balloons (hearts, rounds, geo blossoms) will help you to give your sculpture more character.The importance of adding eyes to a figure will be explained. The purpose of this workshop is not to copy shown designs but to create your own style.
Shown techniques: frumple twist, hook twist, long tulip twist, raisin twist, demi twist, side-wall bubble 6" hearts.
Tips & tricks: use of other materials and tools to help you to shape a balloon.
