Hello ........ My name is Heike and I twist balloons in Germany. The simple dog, Sword, flower ect.
I'm twisting the enthusiasm of the balloon. I want to learn a lot and looking for tutorials on Youtube.

I am looking for a guide by Patrick van de Ven. He wrote this piece for the (little guys) instructions in the Qualatex Balloon Magic the Magazine, number 57.

Unfortunately, we do not get these magazines in Germany.

Can someone help me and tell me: o) best with pictures like I'm doing a character. The head I do not understand how it is made:roll: please, please, please

Please excuse the bad English - LOL it's a Google translation

Thank you for your effort and love from Germany
Heike

Hi Heike

It's not appropriate to share the instructions online that someone has created and published without their permission.

I live in the UK and cannot buy balloon magic magazine however I have ordered past issues from www.tmyers.com so I would suggest you do the same. They do ship to Germany.

Thanks

Hi Heike and welcome to the forum. You can obtain Balloon Magic from Qualatex direct as well or you could email Patrick directly via his website, http://www.ballonkunstenaarpatrick.nl/ and he may give you details of where to purchase the magazine or instructions from. He does have a DVD out but not sure if the little guy is featured.

If you posted an attempt at the model I'm sure we would all give you some hints and tips on making the model if you went wrong.

Im not sure that the head part is unique to Patrick as I was shown and made a similar model at least five years ago. The head is fairly simple and examination of the photo here gives big clues.

The major difference to what I was shown was that the body was a three balloon roll through, not the 5" it look like Patrick uses making the model taller. At the time I made some of these I didnt know of the raisin twist to attach the feet like he appears to do and his use of filling in the details bring the balloon to life. These are the part I think are his unique ideas on the Little Guys.

Heike,

What part of Germany are you from, did you know there is one of the biggest European jams in Melle, near Hanover in October, its three days, but you could do a day trip if your close enough. Great place for getting ideas and tips.
