Hi

carrying on from Normski's great ideas howabout the classic film camera? Film reel,
the Hollywood hill sign on a hat? Clapper board? Faces/heads of famous film stars?

Also maybe think about the classic films and making balloons of that, eg King Kong on the Empire State building, A sinking ship - Titanic.

Last idea. Think what can you do already that is relevant to films. For example I was at the premiere of Nanny McFee 2 - where pigs feature in the film, so I made some pigs!

I hope that helps, take photos and let us know how it goes!

Danny :)

Hi Kate,

The film theme seems the way to go, with some great ideas from Danny, love the King Kong idea.

If it is any help Lord Geoffrey has on his "balloon gallery" page on his website a picture of his balloon oscar, and his balloon old style movie camera.

This is a Marilyn Monroe I do in her classic pose over the grating from "The 7 Year Itch". Not too difficult to do, but instructions are on youtube, under "how to make a balloon diva", by Sandi from Balloon Utopia.

Good luck with the job

Hi Kate,

I did a search recently on BalloonHQ, there are some nice designs for Oscars on there to give you some ideas.
