Slightly off topic, but not.  Do any of you know if the Betallatex balloon glow under black light as well?

Quote from: "Martin"So what is it about Graham and people called Daniel?

Martin.

Am I the only one who laughed hysterically at this?!  Hilarious!

Anyway,  back on point....

Here's where I'm coming from.  I saw the Origanizer and thought it looked like a great product.  I tried to DIY it first.  That didn't turn out so well for me.  In fact, it was a total disaster.  The only good thing to come out of it was a jig saw for my husband.  He was most appreciative.  I bought 6 of the origanizers when they were on sale, and have been extremely happy.

I realize this discussion really isn't about the Origanizers, but more about an attitude.  Obviously, I don't think it's wrong for someone to try and do something for themselves.   It is wrong to expect others to do it for you.  This opinion carries over into the, "Can someone tell me exactly how to make what's in this picture of someone else's work?" mentality. This makes me CRAZY!  When Brenion came out with his Jumbos, I saw the pictures and created the big bunny before the videos came out.  However, after the video was available, I bought it too as a "thank you for creating this".  I'm very "frugal", but realize people spend a lot of time and effort on creating these ideas.  There's nothing wrong with someone trying, but there is an issue with someone who is all take and no give. (in my humble opinion).

OR make a really big, huge one.  That would be awesome!

I wonder if you did something like this, but used rice or bean bag filler.  Just sew the tube, and by manipulating the rice, you could actually twist it like a balloon.

Hmm, this could be fun!

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: DVDs v. Downloads

Quote from: "Thelma Levett"I have changed to downloads.  Mainly because I now offer a pick and mix option so you can pick something from any of my compilations and have just the ones you want.  I would not be able to offer this with the discs.  Also it means people a long distance get it not only quicker but don't have the problem of postage and import tax.  Also I don't see why the disc is an issue because once you have purchased and received a download you can easily burn it onto a disc for your physical collection.  Job's a goodun!

I do think any download should be backed up with a disc by the way.  I occasionally get emails from people saying they have lost their download for one reason or another and I am happy to re-send stuff to them.  Here is my age coming through a bit I suppose, I don't totally trust downloads.  I want something I can pick up and put on a shelf with my other instructions.  Then no matter what happens its still there.  Unless my house burns down of course!

DVD and rip, or download and burn.  Either way works and accomplishes the same goal!  Love that we are thinking alike!  :)

I know Cindy already addressed it, but yes, it's only illegal if you try to re-sell it.  Using it for person use only is fine.

You can't really tell, but these are the "smaller" hulk fits matched against the bigger ones taught at T-Jam 2013.  They are so fun!  Great for shows.

How about having the best of both worlds?  Order the DVD, rip it so you can view it on any device.  Have both. Be happy!

Thanks for the update, but I think I need a little clarification...are you talking about the Air Craft or Magic Flate?  I'm wondering about the Air Craft, with the sideways nozzle.  Does it work well for you?  I'm debating purchasing an Air Craft or another Mac Min.

You've only had the demo for 2 years.  That's practically no time at all, right?

That....was....amazing!

Yes, I know this thread is two years old.  However, I'm needing to get another floor pump within the next few months and this thread was roaming around my brain.  I have a filbert and mini mac already.  I'm curious about the air craft.  I tried one at twist n shout last year, really liked it,  but I'm wondering if the sideways nozzle presents issues long term.  Do you mind sharing your thoughts?
