Is it possible to get the 350 balloons for the same price as the 260's ???

Hello Balloontwisters,

I want to show you my first character balloon sculpture for a wedding today.

A friend of mine asked me if I can do that and I tried the best I can, but I am not 100 % satisfied with my result.
I twisted that 3-4 times before I get that result on the picture below. What I didn't like before were the eyes, I made them out of one 5 inch round, looked like a frog at the end.I can post the picture later if you want :-)

Now I tried to do the eyes with a 260 white and two small Pinchtwists.

The artwork for the eyes : I want to give them more feeling, don't want that static look like a roboter.

If someone of you did that balloon charaters and can post pictures and maybe a tipp for me, I am very happy.

Thank you very much and a nice weekend.

Hello Ballontwisters,

I have got a question.

On saturday I saw Ted Mc Koy, he had a bag around his shoulder with a little compressor inside, to inflate balloons with !

It was very amazing.

It uses a 12 V battery and a horn.

I post you two pictures from ebay, that you know what I mean ok !

When he pushed his arm to his bag, where all these items were in, he activated a switch and the balloon was quickly filled, till the end !

Great !

I don't know how to combine these things together, and I need some instructions.

In germany no one has this pump.
Maybe some of you know what I mean and can help me with the construction !?

It is a electric inflater.Don't know how long it works, without loading the battery again.

Hope you understand my english.

Thank you for your help !

Balloon Chit Chat / Goose
March 21, 2011, 02:57:37 PM
Hello Balloonlovers :-)

Here is a very beautiful goose design.I did that on saturday.

I don't know who created that design.I learned it from a german Sempertex distributor.

The eyes are out of a purple 260 scrap.
Head and neck are out of one white 260.
The body is made out of one white 260 and for the wings is another white 260 needed.

The beak and the legs, feed are out of 2 orange 160 balloons.

I love that goose design ! Can anybody tell me, who invented that original design ?

If you exchange the beak, to another beak, it can be a stork, duck or a pelican or a marsh bird ...... The possibilities are near endless.

I only wanted to show you that goose, because I like that one sooo much !

Hope you like it !

Maybe you can post your goose picture here.

Greetings from germany !

Balloon Chit Chat / How to make "Butterfly antena's" ?
February 12, 2011, 11:43:14 AM
Hi Balloontwisters !

I am searching for a elegant and practical way to make two bubbles on each site of a 260 balloon to use it as antena for a butterfly. It should be done with out using your mouth to bring the second bubble to the other end of the balloon.

I inflate the 260 in the middle of the balloon and then the first bubble to one end is no problem, but then bringing the second bubble to the opposite end is hard for me.The bubbles must have the same size.

I hope you can understand what I mean and someone can help me to solve the problem.

Thanks a lot !

Hi Balloonartists

I heard from a person in germany that he saw Nikoloon inflate a 260 balloon and without twisting he had a very great heartshape. What Nikoloon does before he inflates the balloon, he was laying one strand over the other in the middle of the balloon.

@Thelma Levett : If you read my new topic , would you please explain the people what I mean ?

I think you know the heart shape and know what I mean. Thank you for your help Thelma.

Maybe someone can post a picture of the heartshape.I never saw that heartshape, I only know from it through the stories I heard from the person in germany.

Thank you very much for your help and support.

Hi everybody !!!

I am able to inflate one 260 or one 160 by mouth. No problem, but now I want to learn to inflate two 260 balloons by mouth at the same time to the same lenght.

My problem what I have is, everytime the balloon to the right inflates and the balloon to the left don't inflate.I think I press the air in the middle of the two balloons and not in each other.

How is it possible to canalize the air even in each of the two balloons ?

Please help me to learn that great challenge !

Thank you very much !

Greetings from germany.

Marc

The two balloons have the same color

Picture Gallery / Cockatoo
January 27, 2010, 07:07:21 PM
Hi Balloontwister's,

I want to show you my cockatoo. The original creation is from Patrick van de veen.
Instead of a 646 for the head and body I used a 360, because I didn't have 646 balloons :-(

So the beak (6" heartballoon) is a little bit to big, because I did not use a 646 balloon.

I hope to see your cockatoo creations.
