Looking for ideas on dogs made out of balloons. Like specific dog breeds. Not just a general balloon dog.  My aunt is a member of a kennel club and asked me if I could possibly make something. I told her I would research and get back to her.

How do you make the head and hair for the first one. I feel like I saw a post where it gave instructions but I don't remember.

The heart shape would make good hair

I played with this a little bit over the weekend. I didn't get to finish it, but it made me think of the troll movie coming out.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Penguin in a bathtub

This is just something quick I Put together. The penguin won't just be thrown in. It will be centered and things will be cleaner.mI don't need this until October so I have time to change things. The weave on the tub isn't pretty on this one but I am ok with   It. I am not a fan of the eyes. I will probably do something different. That's not my usual penguin. I added the little duck and the tub will have bubbles. I may use ivory for the tub instead of white. That way the penguin sticks out more.

Looking for help on making a penguin in a bathtub. It's the bathtub I'm most concerned about. This is going to be for a display on a table.  Any help is appreciated.

Topic/Discussion Of The Month / What the client sees?

Quote from: "Graham Lee""Do you ever wonder what the client sees"

I posted the snow white design over on facebook with the other two variations,
this is the thread, https://www.facebook.com/groups/8826992 ... 0207953530

And Terri posted a very good question, "Do you ever wonder what the client sees"

So do you make a design that will please you or to please the client?
This I expect will be different for décor and twisting but I thought it was a great question.

I wonder what the client sees all the time. I tend to think my design may not be good enough. I don't feel it's bad to think that way. If anything it pushes me to come up with a better design or some way of perfecting it.

I have had both an apron and a bag. I no longer use the apron. At times I miss the apron but the bag gives me more variety. The apron is good if you're able to move and twist. Most of the time once I start twisting I stand in one spot and the people come to me. It's easier just to have my balloons next to me on a table. I have also found that an apron puts your balloons right at eye level for kids who want to touch them. So I say go with a balloon bag.

I use plastic portfolio covers and roll my balloons up in them. The first time you set up your balloon bag is painful. It took me hours, but it's worth it in the end.
