I have just got back from seeing 100 magicians at the London Palladium, it must go down as one of the best shows I've seen ever, just stunning, an absolute joy to watch, a great way to start the week.

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Buster Balloon DVD's

After reading Nippys post it looks like the hard copies are coming later, I have not had an email from Don about the DVD's, just one about the possibility of doing a UK lecture.

Now I will be disappointed if we are only getting a downloadable DVD to view, as Bonnie knows I am a person who likes to have the DVD and case in hand.

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Spiralling a 350

You could double stuff it with a 160 inside and tie the nipple end. Then pull approx 1/3 of the 160 out of the 350 and hold onto it while inflating the 350.

Getting everything sorted out and the car loaded up today for an early get away tomorrow, well after the rush hour at about 9.30 then off to hopefully sunny Southport.

This could be an interesting topic Charles, why would one want to twist faster in a line work or entertaining situation. Mind you I suppose it depends how slow you are in the first place.
I have just finished doing 20 dates at a theme park in Southend twisting and worked out that roughly I make around 12 sculptures an hour but while making them I like to think I'm interacting and entertaining those who are waiting for a balloon.

I can see the point of twisting faster when making decor or competition pieces as I have been told by many that time is money which is not something that I worry about to often,
the fun and enjoyment are more important to myself.

Finally sorted the day, it will be on Wed 12th Oct and is a non BAG day so everyone that attends will have to pay a £10 fee to help cover the hall costs etc.
This is a non BAG event due to us putting on to many days this year, oops!
Please also bring your own balloons along to play with. I will do a basic class in the morning first thing and then a request lecture, I liked the way this went at the Twistina lecture so if I make it I'm happy to show my version. I'm pretty sure that we will also have a couple of lecture/guest spots so making a nice fun day for everyone. We also go out for a meal after and everyone is most welcome.
Please try and book ASAP as we do need a minimum of 15 for the day to go ahead.

It's a nice display, is it a challenge finding the pump to use underneath though?
