Just the small 6 inch

As you all know we had Patrick answering the questions on the 1st/6th July and Patrick had a few late jobs come in that week & was really busy so rather than quickly answer the rest of the questions we decided to put off till a later date.
Well the 4/10th Aug is that later date when we welcome back Patrick to finish off his questions. Here is the link to the other half of his interview;
http://www.balloonchat.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=68

So carrying on;

15, What kind of work do you do mostly - parties? Corporate? Etc

16, What is your favourite/ideal gig to do?

17, What irritates you most at a gig?

18, What would you say has been your proudest achievement in our wonderful world of twisted latex?

19, Are you a full time balloonist or do you have another job?

20, What advice would you give to someone starting out, or wanting to increase their business?

If anyone has any other questions for Patrick, please post away.

Craig here are some more questions;

7, Do you have the same act but vary the presentation for all ages or do you have set acts for different ages?

8, What’s your favourite thing to make at the moment?

9, What is the most asked for model?

10, What do you tend to do more of if stuck in the 'balloon production line' model?

11, Who is your market aimed at?

12, What kind of work do you do mostly - parties? Corporate? Etc

The more detailed description & answers you can give to your answers then the more questions may flow back your way from balloon chat members from the answers you've given. This way we all get to know you better  :D
Do you want to talk about the op?
Is Lincoln the only magic club you go too?
Are you a member of any other organisations?
At a gig how often do you get told your the best twister I've seen?
Come on Craig in the 6 years you've been twisting something odd/bad must have happened?
What do you mean by "Adult" work?

Yes I've noticed :D  :D
The idea was to let the members of balloon chat have first pickings on the hearts as a thank you for their contributions on the forum but I ended up with emails all over the place, it was too confusing for me.

If everyone in the world started twisting there would be no time for all these wars & conflicts and the world would be a better place.
So keep spreading the word  :D

The "Star" Interview / Patricia Bunnell Interview 18/24th Aug
« on: July 28, 2008, 10:00:35 AM »
I have another lovely person lined up to answer your questions from 18/24th Aug, I first met.. well infact thinking about it it's the only time I've met Patricia & that was at Diamond jam balloon convention in Phoenix, Arizona last Jan 2007. She is a really lovely friendly person who who loves to share with others & now looks completely different to the publicity picture below, I'm sure she will explain if anyone asks the question.
I have three of Patricia's DVD's;
Country Critters
Twisted Critters Vol 1
Twisted Critters Vol 2

The twisted critters series are all animal hats which are great and reasonable quick & easy to make. Would be great when you need to be quick & very visual with a sea of balloon hats.
I do have a confession to make though, just looking for info about Patricia to post & I see that Vol 2 is still in it's plastic sealed cover from when I came home from the jam so I've had it 18 months & not lookes at it.......oops
Will try & have a look soon, promise.
There are some very good designs on the DVD's and I would definately recommend them.
Patricia's portfolio page is;

and the website details are;  http://www.myfriendandiproductions.com

The plan is to do a back so basics balloon modelling DVD aimed at the novice balloon modeller & then a one balloon wonders with as I'm sure you've guessed all the balloons made with one balloon & then I was going to explain the origami flowers & love hearts that I make.
Pictures below are the one balloon flower & the love heart that I entered for The Millennium Jam last year.
