Hi,
It's my friends' 21st wedding anniversary soon and they've asked if I could do an Ivor the engine balloon. I'm not sure how. Any pictures or suggestions would be most welcome.

Rhian

Hi Rhian
I'm not sure how big you want this, but here is a ride-in train I did recently

Hope that helps

That's great Lisa! I am looking for something smaller though, a centre piece maybe. Anyone else done any Ivor like trains?

Well here it is. I was quite pleased with it. It's my first large scale model and completely my design from a picture of Ivor. I added Jones the steam for good measure! It's sat on a ball of twine to keep it upright though. Needed more weight at the front I think.

Hi Rhian

An excellent effort -well done. The use of contrasting colours for the red wheels and green body is nice. If you ever make this balloon again I would recommend using solid greens and reds. I just think it will help the model stand out a little model especially with your black writing (that's not a criticism by the way!)

:-)

Thanks Nippy, I thought the same. I only used the jewel colour because I don't have any solid green 350's. Going to have to invest in more balloons!
