I guess it really depends on the scale you want to work in. Do you need multiple sculptures for several attendees/players, or do you need a large "showpiece" for the event?

If your weaving skills are "up to par" (couldn't help myself), you could weave a full-size golf bag (with clubs) to go with a life-size "lootle" style golfer for the entrance to the event.

You can make a very impressive Golf Cart in several different sizes. It's basically a box with wheels, and can be done in anywhere from full-size to small enough to fit in someone's hand.

You could weave an actual Golf Course layout to be placed on a table complete with Sand Traps, Water Hazards, trees, holes and numbered flags.

That's about all I can think of for a Golf theme.
