Then make the last three 2.5 finger bubbles and wrap into the handle twist one more.

You have a slightly different looking sword.

Here are the finished sword and shield. I hope they come in handy when you are out and about twisting.

Please post away, it will be nice to see a few variations and the draw fro the DVD will take place on the 8th April.
The competition closes on the 7th April.
All entries go into the hat.

I also turned the shield into a spaceship, guitar, violin, bird and aeroplane. It's on the evolving shield thread here,

OOOPS!

I forgot to mention about the knot at the back of the shield.
You can either just leave it or make it into a pinch twist to hide,
I must have been too keen to post all the instructions earlier.

OK I'm going to be brave.... Here is my first ever entry...and my first ever shield/sword so I know it's not great haha. My daughter requested 2 sets so she could battle with her dad!
