I was going with an Owl design for this month but decided to enter it into a
competition next week so we are now onto plan B, the Cowboy Gun.
The Owl will be for April now.

Enclosed in all the balloon orders for March will be the complimentary pack of balloons.
If you do use a grey balloon and not the Silver Chrome you may need to scale it
all down as the chrome balloon is approx. 4 fingers longer when inflated.

The gun uses 1, 260 Chrome Silver and 1, 260 Mocha
I have added an extra Chrome Silver to the bags.

If you make with a grey 260 you may need to slightly reduce all sizing as a
260 chrome is up to 4 fingers in length longer than a standard 260 balloon.

Inflate the 260 chrome leaving 8 fingers un-inflated,
make a 1.5 finger bubble and a 1 finger pinch twist.

Make a 6 finger bubble and then two 1 finger pinch twists.

You then need a 4 finger bubble followed by a 2 finger pinch twist.
This will be the top section of the rear of the gun.

Make another 4 finger bubble and twist this into the two 1 finger pinch twists.

You then need another 4 finger bubble and a 1 finger pinch twist.

Then make a small half finger spacer bubble and twist into the 2 finger pinch twist.

You then need another half finger spacer bubble and twist back
into the smaller 1 finger pinch twist.

Then one more 4 finger bubble twisted into the two 1 finger pinch twists.

Deflate the rest of the balloon so you have approx. a 6 finger bubble

The end of the balloon goes up through the middle of the lower 4 finger bubbles
and attach the end of the balloon around the top larger 2 finger pinch twist.
This helps to make the lower section of the gun to sit better.

Inflate the mocha 260 about half way, you can make two gun handles from the one balloon.
Make two 1.5 finger pinch twists and twist these tightly into the top 2 finger bubble pinch twist.

You then need a 7 finger and a 5 finger bubble and twist into the lower smaller 1 finger pinch twist.
Get the pinch twist to sit inside the two mocha bubbles as this helps to shape the gun handle.

For smaller children you could make the handle from a 160, it might
be easier for them to hold but I have always made from a 260.
The lower picture handle is a 160 balloon.
