awww, I like the 3rd one best, it looks like it's smiling.  Is that just using one 350 or two?

I have worked out how they can be made with two 350's but you do have to be pretty
careful with the exact amount of air going into the balloon. I made a few at a gig yesterday
and the comment and feedback was very positive so I think the new look it a definite hit.

This is the bear made from one grey 260.

In the complimentary packs this week are four 350's and one white and black.
The packs are sent out as a little thank you to all our customers and if they
post the teddy here go into the draw to win a balloon modelling DVD.

Everyone is more than welcome to join in and post and please use the design.
I hope it has the reactions for you that I have been getting with it.

Here we go then with this month's design, the 250 teddy.

I have made this with two 350's but for the first couple of goes it may be easier to just use three 350's.

Inflate the 350 leaving 6 fingers un-inflated, make two 2.5 finger bubbles and pinch twist these.
Then make a 3 finger bubble for the lower mouth section.

Pinch twist the 3 finger bubble for the lower mouth section.

You then need two 2 finger bubble as a spacer so the nose later will come up
and through the centre of the head section.

The head is a 4 finger bubble, a 2.5 finger bubble, a 4 finger bubble, a 2.5 finger bubble
and then the last 4 finger bubble for the other side of the face.

Twist the remaining part of the 350 around the second of the 2 finger spacer bubbles.

Push the nose and mouth through the centre of the face and then twist in both ears for the teddy.

Inflate the second 350 and leave between a 4/5 finger bubble un-inflated.

Tie the knot tightly into the lower centre section of the face.

A top tip here, the nozzle from the first 350 I pull down under the mouth and tie tightly around
the lower centre section of the face, this pulls the nose and mouth down from the top of the head.

Make two 4 finger bubbles for the teddy and then a 2 finger pinch twist.

Then make another two 4 finger bubbles and twist around the neck section securely.

You then need a 6 finger bubble for the back of the bear, twist this into the 2 finger pinch twist.

You then need another 6 finger bubble for the front of the bear and
then a second 6 finger bubble for the back of the bear.

If things have worked out well you should have a 1/2 finger bubble to wrap
around the bottom pinch twist. Sometimes you may need to deflate and discard
the last section of the balloon, especially if using three 350's to make the design.

By having two bubbles at the back this pushes the bears arms/legs forward
as if he wants to hug you.

Thelma suggested the above to me many moons ago when I used to just discard
the extra balloon when I used to make the bear from a 260...........thanks Thelma x.

Push the pinch twist and end bubble up into the centre of the teddy to make him a little rounder.

Make a 2/3 finger nose bubble, the size is what is most pleasing to your eye.

Attach this to the nose of the teddy.

Inflate a white 260 to 4 fingers in length.

Split this bubble into two and then I make into pinch twists.
You may prefer to not have as pinch twist, whatever pleases your eye is good.

Attach the eyes around the nose/mouth section.

Add the artwork and you are good to go.

I made this at an event this week for adults and have to say I was very surprised with the reaction it got.
It seemed way over the top but it seems the teddy bear definitely had the ahhhh/wow factor for them.

Hope it works for you as well.

I finally gave your bear a try, but used pinch twists on the front and back of the neck (it worked okay for the 350 bear, but not so good on the 260 bear).
I need to make the legs a little smaller to make it more in proportion. I really like this little bear.  The small brown one is a single 260 and scraps.  The big one is two 350s, a scrap for the nose and a 5" round for the eyes.  I did the face just a little different too.  I made the back of the bear, brought the 350 up for the belly, then made a 2" or so bubble and tied the nose onto it then put it into place on the muzzle.  Just something a little different.
0713171459a_HDR-1_pe.jpg[/attachment:33qqugko] changed the legs just a little 0713171457_HDR-1_pe.jpg[/attachment:33qqugko] 0713171457b_HDR-1_pe_pe.jpg[/attachment:33qqugko]

You are very welcome Graham, I understand :-)  It's frustrating I'm sure.  Wish we could get more people on here like we used to have.  That was so much fun.

WP_20170729_11_43_43_Pro (2).jpg[/attachment:1nprg44v]How on earth did you do that with a single 350, Graham? I would have needed something more like a 370 or 380, so opted for the two balloon solution which was altogether an easier option.

ThreeBears.jpg[/attachment:qfituzp4]Here I used a smaller tummy for the medium-sized teddy and then the same design but with 260s for the baby.
I experimented with different coloured noses, and found black to look better than the chocolate brown.
My favourite is with grey 350s - somehow it looks like a "cleaner" design (not in this photo).

I used two 350's Tim, I do mention it in the instructions and say for the first few times you make
it that it would be easier to use three 350's. Not sure where you got the idea I made it with one 350.

I have made it with one 260 and scaled it all down.

Oh blast! That'll be why I had so much difficulty, Graham... I should pay more attention to your immaculate instructions in the future.
I used one 350 for the head and another for the body.
