This spacer bubble twists into one of the 260 pinch twists at the bottom of the cockpit.
Then we need another 2 finger spacer bubble that twists into the black 160 pinch twist, I then made a 6 finger bubble for the rear of the ski.
Make the other ski for the other side, you can get both skies from the same 160.

And hopefully you will have a helicopter that is similar'ish to the one I made or perhaps mine will be the starting point for you to come up with a variation on a theme.

I did add the tulip twist at the end, a 1 finger bubble tulip apple twisted together and tied to the nipple of the quick link balloon.

Blimey that was quick off the marks Stuart, did you just make visually or did you read the instructions?
If so did they read OK to follow along with?

Not sleeping well at moment so stayed up a bit and had a go whilst everyone was in bed (they can't complain about the noise then if they don't hear it)
The instructions were fine apart fr the set with picture 7, 8, 9 (where you say it gets complicated). I think you left out a bubble and pinch twist as I had to redo after comparing pictures. After 4 finger bubble down to last pinch twist from first balloon, you did a four finger, then pinch twist then six finger. I think there should have been four finger, pinch twist,  four finger, pinch twist, six finger
Kindest Regards

I just had a quick read Stuart and I think you are right, I will have a double check later and make this part again and then do some editing, looks like a 4 finger bubble and a pinch twist have been missed out as you said, oops. It took me 3 hours yesterday to do the instructions with making the model three times before deciding on the variation to explain. Then I changed it last minute as well as I was making it.

I have just edited the text for pictures 7, 8 and 9 and also the following post for pictures 10, 11 and 12. Hopefully that will make it a little clearer.
I missed a 4 finger bubble and a pinch twist out, thanks for being the guinea pig Stuart for these instructions.  :)
