I thought we might start gently back so this is a two balloon tank that I came up with this week, I will post the instructions around the middle of the month.

I couldn't quite figure out how you attached the turret to the rest of the tank, but here's my attempt...

I've not got involved with this before.  Are we supposed to try and make one the same as yours graham?

Yes people try to make something similar, then at the end of the month I put the instructions up of how I made it.
Generally people find there are more than one way to make a model. Good luck.

Here is my attempt but it is four balloons and the central part is simply placed into the middle. I could attach it using scraps but will have another bash at some point

There are a couple of model of the months where I have not put up the instructions, so here is the tank about 10 months late, oops.
I think I might have made it differently before but there are different journeys to get from A to B.

Inflate a 260 and leave 6 fingers un-inflated, twist a 3 finger apple/tulip twist, then you need 2 small pinch twists about 1 to 1.5 finger in size. I twist the 2 small bubbles and then loop the rest of the balloon over the centre of the two bubbles. You could just make 2 single pinch twists if you prefer, I think you get two pinch twists a similar size and with similar pressure inside the bubble by doing it the first way I described.

You then need a 4 finger bubble, an 8 finger bubble and another 4 finger bubble and lock the rest of the 260 around the two pinch twists.
Deflate the rest of the 260 and tie this around the 8 finger bubble to pull the centre of the tank together.

You can repeat this procedure to have a slightly fatter tank, you may need to inflate the original 260 to only 3/4 fingers un-inflated if you try this way.
I have posted a picture, the 8 finger bubbles were twisted around each other before the excess looped around the two 8 finger bubbles to hold it all together.

So carrying on with the thinner tank, inflate your next 260 and leave 4 fingers un-inflated, make an 8 finger bubble, a 2 finger pinch twist and for the thinner tank a 3 finger bubble.

At this point if you are doing the fatter tank you will need between a 4/5 finger bubble to take into account the width of the tank.

You then need another 8 finger bubble, 2 finger pinch twist, a 3 finger bubble, another 2 finger pinch twist and the last 8 finger bubble and the last 2 finger pinch twist.
Twist the knot into the last pinch twist and cut of excess from the 260.

You should have a rectangular shape that fits over the centre part of the tank you made earlier.

Inflate a 160 about half way, make a 2 finger tulip/apple twist followed by two 1 finger pinch twists in your favourite method.

You then need to make the barrel of the tank, I made mine 5 fingers but anything from 4/6 fingers would work. You then need two more 1 finger bubbles and then a
slightly larger 1.5/2 finger bubble. You have to make a loop around the 260 apple/tulip twist you made in the first 260, you can either hold this in place and loop it
around and back into the 3 pinch twists or measure the loop, mine was 8 fingers long.

Slip the loop over the tulip/apple twist, then inflate a 260 for the tracks of the tank. You might be able to get both tracks from the one balloon but I used one for each track.
Make fourteen 2 finger bubbles and tie the 260 together, slip these bubbles over the pinch twists on the body of the tank.
You could make the tracks from a 160 balloon, that might be more pleasing to your eye........we are all different.

Make another track of fourteen 2 finger bubbles for the other side and attach, hopefully your tank will look similar'ish to mine.
If you do make it then please post it here on the forum, it might encourage others to try as well...........thanks!

As I had the double body laying around from the instructions I thought I would put that into the outer shell I made, I think I prefer it to be honest.
And side by side.

I had a bit of time today where I was working so had a play with a variation on the tank Idea.
This one is made from 350 for the body and sides and 260's for the tracks.
