As some are aware my good old canon G12 broke last week on day one of the pokemon build, I bought a Sony A5000 which to be honest I was not impressed with and have decided to return it. So what to do, I was looking at reviews for best camera etc and it was like a mind field reading everything and I was getting well confused so I thought I just need to buy another camera the same as my old one so looked on ebay and somehow I have just bought two, oops

Mind you I have two at the same price I bought the new one for and one comes with a 3 month guarantee,
I think they are a shop so have contacted them to see if they can repair my old camera as well.

So by the end of the week I will be the proud owner of two more canon G12's

Gee Graham, with all the pictures you take for us I'm not surprised yours broke. Maybe it's a good idea to have two LOLOL!

Both cameras arrived while I was up in Birmingham, one has a 3 month guarantee so I started to set it up and twice while sorting the date and time it crashed with fault camera is shutting down. I have been in touch with company who sold it and they said keep using it and if any other problems send it back. I'm happy about that as never add time and date to a picture anyway.............

SO I took a couple of pictures tonight with said camera, I'M HAPPY
it is great to have the old camera back again..............I missed it.
Here are a couple of pictures with old and new camera, the top picture is from the camera I like, my old one. You seem to geta bigger picture and more detail with it.
The bottom picture was the brand new camera that I think takes ages to focus and does not zoom in enough, picture size seems pretty odd as well to me.

My new second hand camera worked well in the US at Twist and Shout, I took thousands of pictures and have started to load them up onto the forum.
It will take a few weeks till they are all posted.

As many are aware, well a few then maybe.
My canon G12 broke a little while back on the first night of the Levet and Lee world tour.
Well it was Scotland and England we visited :)

Unfortunately they do not do the parts any more so I was unable to get it repaired,
so I purchased a second hand one from EBay.

I now have 3 working G12's now, one broken that I will keep for parts in case one of the others
breaks and Zakh my grandson also has a canon G12 that he uses and also likes as a camera.
