Well for those that look in on balloon chat I think I might bore you with all my snaps over the next couple of days from our trip up to Wembley this afternoon when my son Simon and I spent a very pleasant day supporting our football team   I have been following them through thick and thin for over 45 years and today they won the play off final to get promoted to the premiership.

The atmosphere was electric, made the hair on the back of my neck stand up on more than one occasion. We had to collect the tickets today from the box office so until you actually have them in your hands you never know what might or could go wrong.........here they are.

The ground full up, I think there were over 86,000. Something that I feel is wrong, Middlesbrough who we played have an average gate of 15,000, Norwich average gate is over 26,000 yet both teams got more or less the same number of tickets. To get the Norwich tickets you had to be a member and were allowed to buy only two tickets. Boro were selling to general public and up to four tickets, the touts got quite a few boro seats to sell on due to this and we were chatting to a couple of boro season ticket holders and they said to get there tickets was a fiasco, they only picked them up from the ground on the day yet had bought and paid for them the previous Saturday.

oops, sorry about that. We did meet a few boro fans and had a chat with them during the day. They do say going up via the play off's is the best way but also the worst way to lose as last time we lost in the final on penalties so I do feel the pain, especially when supporting Norwich

It could only be in the UK, three people hold a cardboard sign up and everyone either waits or goes when told, made me smile.
