Here is what I made for my daughters 3rd birthday.  Finding the hot climate in Darwin more challenging so cake suffered a few deflations but she loved it.  Unfortunately it appears what she really wanted was to change the colour of the dress on her existing balloon  fairy -  mmm not sure how would achieve that one :-)

Looks like you're getting on well with the balloons your Dad picked up for you !!!!!

The heat we are having here is making ballooning a bit tricky as well

Here is a fairy cake I made a while ago.

PS Hope your daughter had a fab birthday  :D
Kind regards
Kevin

Thanks Phoenix I think it was a picture of one of your cakes (with Tigger and Piglet) I used for inspiration.  Yours are superb by the way.  Daughter loved it especially the candles which were removable which proved a great idea as she enjoyed playing with them (doesn't take much to amuse a toddler). My birthday soon will be making my own balloon cake for.

When we left Darwin had to leave my Dad to pop my creations as couldn't bring myself to do it.

Did a rainbow and fairy for a friends 3rd birthday today

Also did some twisting as they bought a bag of twisting balloons at the supermarket - they were awful have never had so many burst! Makes you appreciate the difference between 'good' and 'bad' balloons.  But the dogs and bears were still appreciated.
