Made another crown at the Portsmouth balloon jam on Wed and then yesterday at home.

The lilac one was at home, if turned upside down would make a nice pair of glass's

Carrying on with the crown idea, this one would sit on top of the head and the band around the head
would sit coming down the side.

I was intrigued with the glasses idea so i tried it, and when you put them on the balloon pushes out, which is a shame really, so i added another sausage bubble across the front of the lenses, and it works perfect!!

So thanks for that idea Graham, i can see a mask also if you add another balloon ;)

Would having two pinch twists at the joint where the glass section and head band section stop this?

I also made another crown variation.

A few more crowns I have been making.
The first picture is a variation of the crown I made on DVD 7.
I'm posting step by step instructions from three of the designs so was having a play and trying to decide what ones to explain.

Playing with some crowns as I did a party yesterday and all the ladies wanted to wear them.
In chrome they just pop, he he see what I did there. They did not pop but the look popped.

An added jewel and all together.

A funny story about the crown below. As I was at the Mark Byrne workshop earlier
this month and then started to play with a crown design I was going to post that
the crown was influenced by Mark. I then look for a thread on balloon chat to
post the crown and what do I see...................the crown I made last week
exactly the same that I made and posted 4 years ago. It made me smile
so thanks to Mark for inspiring me to twist crowns and thanks to me
for 4 years ago re-making the same design, he he

I did mention all this at the workshop I just did at the Kidology magic convention.

The last picture is the crown Mark made, the middle section is a double bubble.
Then the one I made last week
and finally the first picture is the one I made 4 years ago.

I also added the different jewel in the top section.

The opaque green (Sping green?) jewel really pops out as nestled within the Chome, significantly visually appealing compared to the chrome gem on the bottom of the first page of this thread

Yep - it's Spring Green, just seen the instructions for it: Crown Instructions for Model of the Month (http://"https://balloonchat.co.uk/model-of-the-month/october-model-of-the-month-(crown)/")

Sorry I missed your post. Yes I think the spring green adds to the design.
Plus you could get 3 or 4 jewels made form the one balloon.

I made the crown last night so difficult to get a good picture.

Trying to get this thread updated, where I named the crown's crown1 then any other crown1 disappear so I had to go back and name every picture differently.
I think all are now on show, it's a glitch with the forum unfortunately. So a few of the more later Crown designs I have been making.
