Having a really crappy birthday today so decided to cheer myself up (and tried to cheer the kids up too) with some twisting.  I have attempted one of Bonnie's wearables before using the recommended balloons but have found 360 awkward to use so today decided just to use 260's and here are my efforts.

Like I say sorry to Bonnie as the CD is absolutely brilliant and my attempts really do not do her designs justice.  If you haven't already got both her wearables cds then why not?  :D

Yvonne, they don't look too bad to me. Did Bonnie make these from 360's then?
They look OK made from 260's. Sorry to hear that the day was not all you hoped for but I'm sure there will be some fun & exciting ones ahead of you to look forward too :D

Yes Bonnie uses a lot of 360's in her designs but I agree they look good in 260's too just a bit smaller!!!

Not too bothered about the birthday now.  Mainly fed up because I have been stuck indoors with 2 kids under the age of 5 ... both of which are not particularly well and have been testing my patience all day long.  Well my youngest has anyway - my daughter has actually been very well behaved really.  Hey ho going shopping tomorrow so that should cheer me up and get the little mons.... darlings out of the house.

Yvonne,
I see absolutely nothing to be sorry about!  They look more than fine to me and I am quite flattered to see them posted.  ;)

As for making these hats with 260s... Most of these hats, before they became hats, were handheld designs that I had been making using mainly 260s.   I just converted the designs to the 360s size because I wanted a larger hat without adding to the amount of twisting I was doing and not because the 260s wouldn't work.

I can totally sympathize with being couped up with a child/children that is not feeling so well.  I spent yesterday babysitting my grandson who happens to have pnumonia in both lungs.  Between the vomiting and the messy diapers, I was so ready for when his mom came home.

Here's hoping tomorrow brings a better day!

I'd be proud to produce hats like that Yvonne - they are fine - Bonnies stuff is on my shopping list but I have a stack of DVDs waiting that I want to work at first
C\'mon Let\'s twist again...

I should also add that Bonnies are great value for money $20 each which roughly converts to £10 each and she emails them to you so you don't even have to wait for the postman - my ideal shopping experience really!!!

Thank you very much for your compliment Smiggle.  I am still very new to this whole twisiting game and don't get as much time to practice as I would like I just need to do these a few more times so that I can produce them in a few minutes so I can use them on jobs - those and the other million hats on the 2 discs.  Okay I exaggerate but there are 12 instructions on the 1st Volume and 22 on the 2nd!!!
