Dave,

I love that Spiderman. I'm a huge Spidey-fan and I think you captured it perfectly. It's a quick model too.

We were talking in the other topic about how to come up with original designs.

Here is a spiderman I came up with tonight.

I wanted to capture the triangular shape of a muscelled torso (unfortunately NOT the type I see in the mirror). I tried the idea of using two hearts. A red in the front and a blue in the back. Also, for his face. I used the same technique that Patrick used on his princess (seen here: viewtopic.php?p=5293#p5293)

His chest/back is a little too bulky but that's just because I added too much air. And his neck is a bit too long. I'll fix it next time.

Here's the Spidey I've been making for linework.

You make the legs first, snap off remainder and save a 3" blue bubble for the back. Make the upper body, starting with the hand, head, torso, arm. Add the blue bubble for the back and some artwork.

Torso based on Michael Floyd's design.

Here is a challenge back. Milo, lets see what you have come up with now you have seen a few examples. It is nice to see the outcome of a request. You might have come up with some variations of your own that would be nice for everyone else to see. If not its still nice to see what you came up with.

Dave, I do like your Superman and the upside down pose for spiderman is a neat idea. I do Spiderman but the two versions I do don't really fit the criteria for this thread. One uses too many balloons 3 red 260, 1 blue 260, 1 10" round and a scrap of 360. So that's no good on here. The other is an aeroplane with spiderman in it but uses less balloons and is my cop out when Im in a hurry.
