Please don't worry if they are not too similar as we all put different amounts of pressure onto the balloon when twisting, the more you make the model and the more experience twisting different animals the more you will get the feel for balloon modelling. But please be warned as it's very addictive
"TOP TIP"If you make the dog as above it is relatively easy for someone to untwist the dog.
So to over come this when making the dog push the nose through the ear fold twist, the body through the front leg fold twist and the tail through the back leg fold twist so locking everything in place. Some instructions that may well help with this can be found here under genuine lock twist;
