Balloon Chit Chat / Nozzle-up balloons at Blackpool

How popular were the nozzle-up balloons at Blackpool? Are they worth the extra cost? I'm assuming there was an extra cost.

Helium sold by BOC is marked balloon gas. It is of an inferior quality and can't be used in hospitals. Helium is also used in the manufacturing of flat screen televisions so, if you're worried about such things, sell your television.

Yes, that's a good point, Thelma. I make a ballerina and start with the shoes.
A motorcycle is different if I start with the front wheel rather than the rear one.

Thanks. That wasn't why I bought them. It might have been for something Dave Brenion makes, or Buster Balloon.

Balloon Chit Chat / Yellow hearts

Sorting through my balloon stock and found two bags of 6" Yellow hearts. Anyone know why I bought them? What would a twister make with them? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like you are over filling the foils if the sides are smooth.
Are you using the right tool? There is an inflator for foils that automatically cuts out when it is correctly inflated.

I don't understand what you mean by a twisted arch. how will it span twenty-odd feet without helium, or support?
Do you mean the usual arch on a frame made with round balloons plus a few twisted figures?

It's 100 feet long: Where would you get a table to put it on?
