I was a facepainter first before I became addicted and twisted so I do the line check at 20-30 min before end time. I tell them they are the last ones as I have to go to my next party or event. Everyone gets a simple balloon. I agree there will still be whiners, mini tantrums and verbally aggressive parents on occasion (I hear and feel Patricia B's lament). I really need to incorporate the "treat and run" . I like the glow sticks, little tattoos, or uninflated balloon. Wyndy O

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I am looking forward to getting to know you better.

Thanks Mark! I met you in Jan in Orlando (You were the plane and I was the tractor in the Wolfes' class!) I would love to come if I can arrange it to the artist's jam!!! Thank you!

She is adorable truly. The face is beautiful!!! and the little rounded belly kind of evokes the belly dancer look! I love the dropped sleeve and little bikini top!!! I wanted to see the silk scarves swaying as she did her sexy shimmy - but can not figure how one could do that in balloon!

I want to try and post an attempt. Can I get a hint as to how many balloons it should take? Or is that almost cheating?

I am confused since I can't tell from the one color blue catcher at all and am not sure if the red-white-blue is using extras to take the color design up a notch.

Hi Tomo!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have an excellent sense of humor!! I had no idea the balloons could be so addictive. I have been carrying around a certain red "ketchup bottle" pump in my purse so I can practice in the car, or at the park or playground with my kids.

I am so intrigued by your logo....tell those of us with inquiring minds more.

Success! Thanks Graham! I am still not sure how some pics are displayed lengthwise on the forum.... It def will not accept mine if they are 600 wide and 480 high ONLY 600 high and 480 wide (or less....)

Is there a way it will accept it lengthwise? is there another secret?

Forum won't let me post my pic in the long-way rotation......grrrrr.

Hello Everyone! I am totally new to the wonders of twisting. I have tried a few things now and am getting a little better - breaking only 2 out of 10 now.....ha ha ha!    sometimes more if it is a new thing I am trying out!!!

I saw some amazing balloon twisters at the last couple of face painting jams and conventions I went to and was just blown away by what some of you do. The patience and creativity required are totally different from the painting I do..... and perhaps the adrenaline of the potential pop keep it exciting and feeling a little more dangerous. If I don't do a fantastic face I can sprinkle glitter, touch it up or the kid may like it still - but it doesn't explode and make everyone in a 15 foot radius jump!

I love your forum and am looking forward to growing and learning so I can give back something....one day.....

Thanks for having me.
:D  Some pics of my first creations.....

1.Rattlesnake (Ed Chee design)
2. Flamingo Hat (Ed Chee design)
3. My little RedHead holding the "geoball" (no idea where this one originated)

apparently i need some hints in uploading - tried 3 diff ways....
