Balloon Chit Chat / My newest PDF!
February 21, 2014, 02:48:54 AM
Want to learn how to twist an awesome cat by me but want to hear it in your own sexy inner monologue? Well now you can!

Stanley the Cat is a PDF full of pictures and HUNDREDS of words. I admit that many of them are some variation of the word twist but it's the thought that counts.

Check it out at http://www.slightlytwistedballoons.com/store.html

Balloon Chit Chat / New PDFs just released!
May 09, 2013, 05:49:53 PM
Deep in my laboratory I have been hard at work taking photo after photo and edit after edit. Now that work has come to an end and we have TWO new PDFs available from the Slightly Twisted Shop!

Take a look at what they contain...

I try to give only the best I possibly can. Any less then that would simply be a disservice to the art of balloon twisting and a huge waste of your time.

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Re: busking for teens

I find the trick to teens is knowing what is relevant to them. I sell tons of headbands to teens. Perhaps you should start there.

There will always be those who steal but for the most part if you are able and willing to make high end designs the you are most likely mature enough to pay for them.

I really never buy any balloon media. No I don't need to know how to make someone else's cat or learn to weave a duck or whatever. That being said I bought this series literally seconds after its release.

Why? Because I buy concepts and most original twisters will tell you the same. When I saw these jumbos I knew that I could work with the new concept and I knew exactly how they worked. Even though I could make them that same day I knew that I needed to show my support for the idea. I'm a businessman and I know that this idea will make me much more then my investment so it is a no brainer to pay. In my opinion if you feel like you can't actually invest in your education then you yourself feel that you are not skilled enough to sell it back.

As a general rule I say no. I have been asked this before and I always feel that it is just a slippery slope.  In one instance i have given someone permission to use my photo on their website after buying my instructions. I did this with he clause that after a month I wanted it down. I felt that it gave them plenty of time to make a sale and take their own photo. I followed through with this.

I realized after that that I could not possibly expect myself to follow up with everyone I did this for so I just started telling everyone no.

If you can find a good way of keeping the line drawn then I say go for it. It is good for everyone but if you dont have enough to protect what is yours then just keep it under wraps.

Quote from: "David Brenion"
Quote from: "Tesstify"Nice video David! What piece of music did you use? I really like it.
I simply used the free loops that come with Apple's iMovie. It's very useful music in lots of styles....and did I mention it's free!

Thats the hardest thing about watching these videos. The music.

Its not bad but its the exact same music that Half in the Bag (a popular movie review vlog) uses. Half in the Bag is a VERY different type of show so whenever your stuff starts my head goes into a different mindset...

But this concept is fantastic!

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Balloon Chat 5 years old
March 30, 2013, 07:42:33 AM
I have floated around the Internet for a long time. I saw balloon forums filled with morons and greedy grubby clowns. Then I found balloonchat. Everyone was incredibly nice and supportive. I would se lackluster balloons posted and met not with criticism but praise for the attempt and a push to go further.
That is why I post here. You all inspire me to do more and make ballooning better for us all.

And a special thank you to Graham for his remarkable support when I thought I had to fight alone.

Happy birthday,

I have received a handful of messages about how to order this little guy and I thought I would clear it up by saying that all PDFs are sold through my web site: www.slightlytwistedballoons.com

I would also like to thank Darren for the wonderful reviews he provides and for taking the time to look at what I have to offer.

Thanks,

Balloon Chit Chat / MODD BODDZ review video!
March 22, 2013, 10:26:46 AM
Unsure if this is the right section...

I don't know if you have heard about Matt Falloons new MODD BODDZ Concept but it is simply a fantastic way to handle quick structures.

Right now they are about to land as a private reserve at continental sales. Check out the review here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1nD8caqP4Q
