Picture Gallery / Snow White
« on: May 30, 2020, 07:27:07 PM »
I made Snow White a couple of weeks back now.
I have been twisting away as usual but have cut back on the posting for the past few weeks.

This was the first dress I made, it was OK but did not flow for me as I wanted it to.
I then made at least 5 or 6 more variations but could not get the look I was after.
I even gave up on the dress for a day and went onto something else.

Model Of The Month / Model of the Month June (Panda)
« on: May 27, 2020, 02:06:24 PM »
I was struggling with what design to do for June. It was either the Panda, Unicorn or Snake.
As you can see the Panda won. I will post the step by step instructions soon.

This is what will be sent out with all orders this month in the complimentary packs of balloons.

A very dear friend David Crofts and his wife Jana have a 24 part TV series, Ballooniville.
David has been adapting some of the series and is putting it onto his YouTube channel
if you would like to have a look, its great for the younger children. I enjoyed it as well.
Please take a look and share if you can, thanks.

Picture Gallery / Ker Plunk
« on: April 30, 2020, 10:20:51 AM »
This was a UK game back in the day.
The top and bottom of the weave needed to be tighter so there was more shape contrast.

Its difficult to get a good picture with clears as well, well it was for me.

Picture Gallery / Weaving
« on: April 22, 2020, 11:45:02 AM »
I was having a play with some weaving the other day, the yellow and black I know
as a wheat weave but it might also have other names associated with it.

Picture Gallery / Snail
« on: April 21, 2020, 09:51:05 AM »
This is the latest snail design I have come up with for using with a geo.
I posted my original geo snail on the geo DVD a few years back now.
It used from memory I thing a raisen and two side wall bubbles.
This uses one raisen twist so the shell sits central, if you were happy
with the shell being slightly off centre then no raisen is required.

The yellow geo uses no raisens.

Picture Gallery / Camel
« on: April 18, 2020, 10:01:11 AM »
I made the camel about 5 weeks ago, not sure if I posted it here.
It was the shape of the head that took a couple of goes to get to where I was happy with it.
