Balloon Chit Chat / Crown & Hair
« on: August 18, 2019, 10:25:32 AM »
I think I saw something like this at the Florida Super Jam
by Michael Bey. I have seen a few pictures on Facebook
that are similar so not sure who the original creature was
but I thought it had potential for the real world.

The hair flows down the back of the child.

I usually make a 260 unicorn and was trying to upscale.
The legs need to be 350 as well I think, will make plan B sometime.

Picture Gallery / Batman
« on: August 17, 2019, 09:21:18 AM »
I made Batman from a variation on one Kerry made when I
was working with her the other week at Country file live.
I think its a variation on the Juan Gonzales
baby design but not 100% sure.

I went with classic old school colours to start.
Picture 2 and 3 have different style top body/arm sections.

« on: August 14, 2019, 12:43:16 PM »
I went up to the London jam yesterday, a small gathering of 7 of us.
Held at Pizza Express near Liverpool Street Station.

Ian was making a one balloon unicorn so I had a go as well.
Caroline brought back a good selection of the 5" prints that
are only available in America and was having a play.

I updated my Mickey Mouse from the other day.

I have been making the Mickey and Minnie on a wand for some time.
There is a BalloonTube tutorial for it,

At the gig on Sunday someone asked for Minnie and I was not keen
to put it on the wand. I worked this out when I came home

Balloon Chit Chat / Ironman Evolved
« on: August 12, 2019, 09:31:39 AM »
Over on the challenge thread it was Ironman.
I struggled making the larger head design for some reason
and rather than post all five head designs there I have started
its own thread to keep the challenge thread a little tidy.

The head design I thought about when away working last week.
It started off upside down with the 260 on top of the 350 but
did not look right. A quick turn upside down and it looked
way better.

I also made a shoe later in the week for Ironman with the head design.

« on: July 27, 2019, 03:06:05 PM »

Mainly as I was asked for a Pug while working the other day
and did not have a quick real world one that I made.

Picture Gallery / Jessie
« on: July 26, 2019, 08:30:18 AM »
As we made Woody last week thought we'd try Jessie.
Still struggling with the hair and hat.

Started of making way too wide, looks like a starting
point for Freddie Mercury from Queen.

Was a little unsure how to do didn't.
Added ears and side hair,
the brim of hat needs to be way bigger still.

Picture Gallery / Pug
« on: July 23, 2019, 07:16:42 PM »
I was working Saturday night and someone asked for a pug.
Now the one I made a few months back, might be years now
is not quick and not line work, can be seen here,

So I thought I'd try to make a line work pug.
I started off with a basic body and then added rear
haunches and legs but this took it way from line work.

So went back to basic body, I did not like the two bubbles
down front of face. The pug has a more widened darker muzzle look.

So added an extra blush bubble at the bottom of face.
