I first started twisting after seeing a guy perform at a Park Dean holiday camp back in May. The man's name was Jim the Balloonatic and I was fascinated with some of the creations he was coming up with on stage. I'd only really ever seen someone twist your run of the mill dogs and giraffes so I was amazed by Jim working in 3 or 4 balloons into the sculptures he made.
After the show he was selling little balloon modelling kits containing some 260's, a pump and an instruction pamphlet which my little girl pestered me in to buying. I'm glad she did now as it's given me a hobby that gives me and my kids great pleasure!
Like I said at the start, I only twist for fun at the moment but I have been asked by a few friends to put in an appearance at their kids parties. Hopefully with a bit of practice I may be able to take this hobby of mine further!
Regards,
Mark
