Mine does not fire actually, but I make a sort of modified "Super soaker" (Water gun) that another twister showed me. It is pretty easy.  I will work up a Tutorial for it, but children seem to like it.  Usually I bill it as a "Space Ray gun with a Nuclear power accelerator coil!" or something equally dire sounding.  and the boys say "Oh COOL!"  I sometimes carry a small squirt gun with me on a really warm day, and as I hand the piece to the child, I will give him a shot or two and say, "Oh!  I forgot it was loaded!  Be careful with that!"

I just like making outrageous things!  The kids don't really car as long as it is fun, and it really seems to have not offended anyone.  Even the really anti firearm people.

I meant (and I am pretty sure you know this!) that English and English are two distinct languages.  I am sure to use a word or phrase in a way that will make a "brit" wish to have the servants give me a bit of a thrashing! ;-D  But is normal for us.

I will NEVER forget a British magician at the FCM convention many years ago who was demonstrating his way of doing the "Magic Coloring Book" to an auditorium full of magicians who were deeply involved in church work.  he did quite well right up until he wanted to eliminate the colors from the book.   He said, (As any brit might)  "Now Get your rubbers out...."  He stopped because the entire room went silent.  this is a CHILDREN's trick, and there was a noticeable chill in the air.  He looked at the silent audience and said, "Oh dear, have I said something rude?"  The chill thawed a bit and someone said, "Here, we use the word 'Erasers' Tony!"  and the poor man had to recover and carry on, knowing that he had unintentionally offended a large group of people.  (he did a magnificent job, considering what he had to deal with!) For those who DON'T know, in USA, "Rubbers" are prophylactics or preventatives.  YES!  Everyone knew that he was entirely NOT at fault!  Nearly everyone had met him and knew him as a kind and gentle sort of magician who loved to work with young people!  He simply fell victim to a  misunderstanding and reaction by people he was working with.   Someone once said, "We are a people, divided by a common language"

Mess up Balloons?  Are you kidding? I NEVER mess up Balloons!  I may get unintended results...but I NEVER mess up.  and if you believe that, I have a large tract of fertile land near her for sale really cheap!

Hi:  I am a relatively experienced balloon artist from Iowa in the USA.  I have been twisting balloons for a bit over 30 years, which makes me sound OLD and Experienced....Hmmm. Old anyway.  I will shut up now and simply try to comprehend what you folks are actually DOING rather than shove an oar in where it is not welcome.  I like people, especially children.  and Love to perform for them!

Best to all of you, and I hope you will tell me if....uh...make that WHEN I mess up!
