Let me be the first one this time to ask a question...

Hi Ken, you are famous for your superheroes DVDs (and many other things to, of course) and I think a lot of question will be about this subject.
I want to ask you about another thing you did, the DVD "Speed Twisting"
I love that one, I use the models (a lot) and they are very successful. In fact, they belong to the top 3 of popular things that I make.

Are there some new designs to this same concept?
Are there pictures of new designs that I can see?
Will there ever be a volume 2?

Hi Ralph, we met in Belgium three weeks ago (do you remember the Dutch guy who was exited when he did a deep hook twist while you were already showing another model?... yep, that was me....)
You showed a Indian hat that turned into a (Belgium) mosquito that turned into the egg laying swan. Sadly I didn't took notes and made no picture but can you tell me, the second bubble (not the egg) was that a pinchtwist?I really cannot remember it.

I tried to make the thing again but somehow it was not as good as the one you showed...
And I want to take  this opportunity to thank you again for the great workshop, you inspired me a lot. Thanks!

This is what I posted at another forum about exactly the same subject:

I hope that you guy's who publish there email addresses like this on the forum have a  good spamfilter.... I bet you will need it !!!!

I would never publish my email address in readable text (for a machine readable) on the internet (or a forum, or anywhere else). It is a sure way to get more spam then you can handle, even years after you published these addresses they still got harvested by bots....... and you get more and more spam every month.

If I may give you some advice, the minimum is to edit your email address so it looks like
cashy001&hotmail.com => replace & with at
Or remove it all together (best solution)
If people want to contact you they better send you a PM, that's the safest way.
Just my 2 cents.....

I personally agree with Dave.
Also this part "Having said that I enjoy chatting to twisters on my web cam on msn messenger and tokbox if you want an invite please send me a pm."
So if someone wants to add me, just send me a PM.

Website "Chat" Help / Re: website help
April 06, 2008, 11:17:27 AM
If you cannot do it yourself you can put an add in the local paper to find a schoolboy of 14 to do it for you.
But with the new CMS (content management systems) that exists these days, it's just a breeze to set a website up. But you have to invest some time in reading the manuals, that is true....

For people who don't know what a CMS is, it is a way to build a website in a certain style. Once you have that style then you can add text, picture, whatever you want and the CMS takes care of the look of all the new things you put on.
Once you decided how it must look, the content is managed by the system.
No worries with adding new pages, if things get broken if you delete pages etc etc. The system takes care of that.
My website is build using a free CMS and there are lots of them. The best known is Joombla but there are lots of free CMS systems out there!

Graham, I hope you mean you have only payed money for the server as this software that is the forum (PHPBB) is free and people are not allowed to sell this software.
I assume you talk about renting the space on the server....

A chat room is not "standard" with this forum and we will have to use other software if you want a chatroom. I'll take a look around this week, look at the links provided and get back to you graham. Maybe there is even free chatroomsoftware available, I have never looked for it......

This looks like something I can use...
Where can I find these "squeekers". Can you give me a link so I can see how they look like?

This is the car I use the most. Simple, fast and impressive because of the "driver"

I use an Edding 750 white paint marker. I know Dave uses this one too. They dry in 30 secs and cost like 1,50 pound

Graham, I made the owl hat. So cool and so simple! I made a "triangle " type of hat from Ed Chee and attached the owl.
Tomorrow I will make a picture, if I do it now the flashlight makes it horrible.....
Thanks!

Model Of The Month / Re: April, Model Of The Month
April 03, 2008, 05:14:31 PM
I think Dave is right. This is very good, you just need to add a pichtwist at the base of the neck.
The feet are basic, that should not be a problem. I started with the head because I suspect that that would be the biggest challenge and it was.
