Sorry to hear about your hitches there Graham.
It's always worth paying the extra for quality memory cards, the cheap ones will fail in so many devices! I found out the hard way too! :(

I'd love to make it to one of these days you run but its a little tricky getting time off work at the moment.
I'll have to keep an eye on the calender at work, I might be able to make it to the Bishops Stotford day.

Awesome! I wonder how they got all the balloons to burst at the end?

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: This Forum - Lack of activity

This forum would probably benefit from open registrations instead of having to E-mail Graham. I'm sure that more people would sign up which means more potential posters.
Its a bit daunting as someone new to twisting being amongst the more experienced members without the support of other newbies! Hopefully a higher sign up rate would go towards helping this?

What a great likeness, I especially like the erm, chest!

Yes it was funnily enough, Warmwell in Dorset to be exact.
This is a video I found on Youtube that Jim made //http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYosTh1uMMU

I first started twisting after seeing a guy perform at a Park Dean holiday camp back in May. The man's name was Jim the Balloonatic and I was fascinated with some of the creations he was coming up with on stage. I'd only really ever seen someone twist your run of the mill dogs and giraffes so I was amazed by Jim working in 3 or 4 balloons into the sculptures he made.
After the show he was selling little balloon modelling kits containing some 260's, a pump and an instruction pamphlet which my little girl pestered me in to buying. I'm glad she did now as it's given me a hobby that gives me and my kids great pleasure!

Like I said at the start, I only twist for fun at the moment but I have been asked by a few friends to put in an appearance at their kids parties. Hopefully with a bit of practice I may be able to take this hobby of mine further! :D

Regards,
Mark
