Hi Twistina,

Just wanted to say that I absolutely agree with the comments made by everyone else, ignore this individual's crass comments.

I've not purchased your .pdf's and can only make a judgement based on the review on this forum by Nippy.
I would think that any twister, even a beginner, ought to be able to produce an acceptable model based on the images, even without instructions.

You are an inspiration to us all.

Hi Kate, Welcome

Hi Martin,

Too me it looks like a nicely constructed site, says everything it needs to say and is easy to navigate.

In my opinion the main text being black is rather, ummm, boring. Maybe it would look a little friendier in a different/brighter colour.

Your header "baLLOONiMaLS" is a mixure of upper and lower case letters, I feel that the first letter ought to be a "B" as oppose to a "b" as it appears out of proportion with the rest of the word.

Not so sure about the use of colour popping, it works well on some photos but not so well on others.

I'm by no means an expert but I hope my comments are useful to you.

Cheers

Excellent logo.

Just one comment, the wording "Magic Mark" seems to me to be rather small and inconspicuous, maybe if it was in yellow it would stand out a little more.

Hi Lisa,
I would've thought this was something that could be easily designed, exactly what kind of thing are you looking for, a clipart balloon dog or something similar?
Are you thinking of using just one colour?

Check out the following links, although I'm not sure if there is anything you could actually use.

Hi Darren,

Another question then..lol

Do you use perfumed talcum powder or unperfumed?
The reason I ask this is because perfumed talcum powder contains various potentially nasty chemicals whereas unperfumed industrial type talc doesn't, although talc in itself is quite nasty stuff being closely related to asbestos.

Hi Kevin,

I'll have to try that.

Balloon Chit Chat / Does handcream affect balloons?
March 18, 2012, 07:06:30 PM
Handles, steering wheels, gear knobs etc containing certain types of rubber and plastic become sticky over time due to degradation caused by petroleum based handcreams, Vaseline for example, and are impossible to rectify.

Balloons do have a fairly limited lifespan but I was wondering if handcreams may create any issues.

I'd go for that Roger, I prefer a more down to earth menu.

What are dolphinnose potatoes anyway?

Hi Graham,

5.30 sounds great to me.

I wasn't going to order that much, just 4 or 5 bags, but if it's not possible to bring them I'll order from the website.

Quote from: "Graham Lee"I was going to get there early and perhaps have a meal before, anyone want to do the same?

Sounds like a good plan, just let us know when and where.

I'll be bringing my better half, maybe someone can persuade her to have a go at twisting a few.

Graham, If we order stock would you bring it with you on the day?

Cheers.
