And it's amazing the different designs everyone makes.
#2
Everyone gets the same balloons in each envelope.
#3
It was good to see all the competitions with lots of people taking part and joining in.
#4
Here we go then with the main pictures from the Ironman competition on the Friday night.
#5
Then add some artwork, hope Barbie and her Car have worked out well and would be nice to see a design or two if you do make them... thanks.

Tie her hand/arm to the front Pink pinch twist, you can also use a scrap to tie from the back of her hair to the rear Pink Pinch twist.
Or even use a couple of glue dots on the 2/3 finger Blush 350 to hold Barbie in place.

The look from the back with her flowing hair.
#7
Make another 4 finger bubble and deflate the rest of the 160 Blush, shock twist both her arms.
Leave some excess on the Blush 160 for tying the design to the Car.

I also put the pinch twist into the centre of the Yellow fold twist so it looks like Barbie's hair is flowing in the wind and gives movement.

Push Barbie into position in the Car that we made in the model of the month for March, details here,

Make a 2/3 finger bubble and deflate the rest of the 350.

Inflate the Blush 160 to the end, this way when making the hand/arm there will be no knot showing.
Make a 4 finger bubble and twist around the Blush pinch twist.
#9
Then make another 6 finger bubble and attach to the top single Yellow pinch twist.
With the remainder of the balloon make a 3 finger bubble and deflate the rest of the 160 Yellow.
Leave the excess as long as possible on the balloon for tying.
Push the un-inflated under the 6 finger bubble and also the two 4/5 finger bubbles and then tie this into the single Yellow lower pinch twist.

If your Yellow was to short then pre=stretch the balloon between your finger and thumb to make longer before inflating.

Make a very small spacer bubble and attach this around the two Yellow pinch twists.
Then make another small spacer bubble and attach this back to the single Yellow pinch twist.

You then need another 6 finger bubble and attach this to the lower Yellow pinch twist.
#11
Attach the knot of the Blush to the two pinch twists securely.. Make another 4/5 finger bubble back to the lower Yellow pinch twist.

You then need a 6 finger bubble with a 1 finger pinch twist.
#12
Make a 1 finger spacer bubble and twist this around the Blush neck pinch twist.
Them make another 1 finger space bubble and attach this back to the Yellow pinch twist.

You then need a 4/5 finger bubble and two 1 finger bubbles made into pinch twists.

Inflate the 350 about half way, make a 4 finger bubble and then a small 1 finger bubble and pinch twist this for the neck.
With a 350 there is a bit of a knack for doing this, put pressure back into the 1 finger bubble while you pinch twist it into place.

Inflate the Yellow 160 leaving 6 fingers un-inflated and make an 8 finger bubble followed by a 1 finger pinch twist.
Attach the knot of the balloon around the pinch twist. This will be the back flowing hair for Barbie.

This is what we will put into all balloon orders for April, I always wonder how many people actually make the designs
up from the model of the month. I think there are well over 125 tutorials on the forum at the moment.
I should possibly go and count them, be interesting to see.

The fire breathing Dragon is the last on the 30 minute competition. The Parrot is the first of the Ironman competition.

This is where people all get the same balloons inside an envelope and then have 30 minutes to make a design from the said balloons.
