As everyone knows, I like to think of this site as a sharing and caring site and we try to give credit for sculptures and be as ethical as possible. This can only work if the people who use it do not take advantage of this sharing.  If anyone sees a photo on this site that they would like to use for any reason, be it for another site, face book or for personal reasons I would appreciate it if they at the very least contacted the author of the photos in question and asked permission.  At the moment we have a very good forum with a lot of material being shared but as I said this will only continue if the people who post photos on here feel comfortable in the knowledge that nothing will be used elsewhere unless they give permission.  Posting photos on here involves a great deal of trust by the person offering the pictures for everyone to look at and no one should feel they have the right to just take those pictures to use without first asking and gaining permission.

When I attend an event I try and let people know that the pictures that I take may appear on the forum as the idea is to promote the event I'm attending and our balloon art around the world on the internet. If anyone appears in any pictures or your work does that I have taken and published on the forum and you would rather they were not on here then please send me an email ASAP and
I will take them off immediately.

I'm on the look out for a new home computer as I've had mine a while and it gets slower and slower with more problems on it everyday. Rather than getting a stand alone computer I was thinking about a laptop so I could take it anywhere.
The two I've looked at so far are the;

Samsung Q310 and the
Dell XPS M1330

I was just wondering if we had any computer experts and there thoughts on the subject.

Looking around the site last night and the competitions seem to have died recently so I was wondering if anyone would like to take charge of this section to help it keep ticking over and encouraging everyone to have a go etc.
And perhaps come up with a few variations on a theme etc.

The elephant is going to be this months model. These were made for a photoshoot last year for London fashion week, hence the unusual colours.

Just got back at lunchtime from the magic convention in Southport and I'm now getting packed to fly off to China tomorrow for the festival that starts this week. Have my visa and fingers crossed that all the documentation is in order for next week. Plans at the moment are a bit vague but it looks like we will be performing the act twice a day along with two busking sessions with another 14 balloon acts. Looking forward to the event and meeting up with others that I've not seen for a while but not looking forward to the flying as for some reason things never quite go to plan

I have been attending these for a few years now and go with three great friends of mine, Mike, Pearse and Thelma and we always have a good laugh. In fact these are my three closest friends, so five days of magic and three great friends, what more could one want.
Thelma and I will be behind the stand working during the day but as you know we don't take it too seriously and still have a great laugh about things. So if you are attending come over and have a chat and a cup of coffee and cream cake would also be most welcome
