This is the first super day so will be a two day event from 10 till 5 both days and then a meal in the evening, perhaps we could have a jamming session on the Wed night after the memorial lecture and meal?
Or does anyone have any other suggestions to what we could do Wed night. At the moment I have no one booked in for either day  :(

The Knutsford conservative club is booked so will try some ringing around tomorrow to find a venue unless someone local knows of one that would be OK?

I only had half a day today as I had a show this afternoon, this has all been done with no instructions  :o  Fingers crossed we are have made no major problems. Will see if I can stain it tomorrow and then get some instructions on Tuesday as there are plenty of odd bits of wood for the roof and around the double french doors.
We are moving all the rabbit food, tools and anything else non balloon related out of the big log cabin into the new one so that we can get some more balloon stock and offer more choice, how sad!

I was not sure as we were all at the day, it would be interesting to see how someone that was not present found the audio and if it was adequate to follow along with.

There are a few threads about which is the best white marker to use, hope they help? white-marker-pens-for-balloons-t947.html?hilit=white%20marker%20pens

We managed to move the greenhouse into our neighbours which you can just see behind the plastic grey shed, it took a while to get the base for the cabin level as the patio has a slope for the rain water to run off onto the grass. This is the end of day one and I do ache, not used to all this hard work, may take it a bit gently tomorrow as I have a show and then have two days in Southend and working with Lord G in Kingston on Thursday.

A cluster of five 7" ballons and five 5" balloons with a 646 and then the 7" and 5" balloons reversed would give a pretty strong base.

There are a few You Tube videos about the tak weave, you need to be careful as some are not a tak weave but just a chain link. I think there are a few threads on here if you hit the search button about them. This is one thread but I think there may be more; tak-weave-t3987.html?hilit=tak weave
Just forund another thread; heart-frame-t3975.html?hilit=tak weave

Quote from: "facefantastic"Hi Lisa I love this.  wouldnt mind you showing me how you did the stem and base.
If you had an attempt at making the glass then daisy or someone else would help out with suggestions if you went wrong but you may surprise yourself and make a very good effort of the glass. We always like to encourage everyone to have a go as I know from doing the model of the month how long instructions can take with pictures and the writing.

Quote from: "Tony Twist"just got to see the DVD really impressed with the quality and sound you did a great job great little camcorder you got there Graham
I bought it specially to film the days, it got 9.5 out of ten in reports and they stopped making it after 10 months so it was difficult to source but the write ups were so impressive.
I might try to mic the lecturer up and have the PA underneath the camera unit so that we get less squeeking although I have not got a lapel mic and the PA would be one more
thing to pack to and from the days so perhaps just leave things as they are.

The log cabin finally arrived about 5pm today so we just had time to carry it all through, we tried to lift the green house through to next door but it was to heavy for three of us so my son Simon is coming around in the morning to help move it.
We have the roofing in the kitchen, the doors in the study and all the smaller pieces of wood in the dining room with the rest outside in the garden but NO instructions so this may be fun in places. The last time I took on a large project, the drive it took about 2 years to finish. You get two car families well we are now a two log cabin family  :)
