Hi everyone,
I'm in a pickle. I need elmer's rubber cement but I live in Ireland and it is quite hard to find it. I have looked everywhere and still haven't found it. Can anyone give me an alternative to it of tell me where I might find it? The thing is I found some but it has a yellow tint to it and seeing as I want to use it for balloons and magic I cant have a yellow one. It must dry clear.
Is there anyone who can help me?

Lorcan. :?

Good question Lorcan.

I've been trying to find rubber cement in art shops, craft shops, hardware shops in Edinburgh but to no avail. I've never looked for it before balloons came into my life, so I've no idea if it's maybe called something else over here (as opposed to the States, not Ireland!) ;)

Hope someone out there knows...

Thanks Graham for the link just bought a bottle for myself. Its great that you found an english shop that sells it. On ebay to buy it from america it costs £18.00. The cement is cheap but the shipping is colossal.
Thanks again,

Lorcan :D

I suspect they may stock this - but have to keep it under the counter, because of the rules on selling solvents?

I just bought some from eBay, from a UK magic shop, and it arrived really quickly. Not used it yet but it is certainly nicer than the alternative I bought from a craft shop!
