I'm doing a gig in a few weeks based around the Amazon and wondered if anyone had any good ideas of models I could do?

So far i've come up with monkey in a tree and one balloon parrot on a perch!

The models need to be fairly simple (based on my skill level) but also quick to make as I have an hours work but will potentially be making a lot of models in that time.

Thanks in advance for your help!

these, and more all exist in the Balloonazon which is a small part of the Amazon!

Good thinking Danny - I had completely forgotten about that small south western region of the Amazon - Balloonazon I guess you can find some quite varied animals down there!

Thanks Prof!

I could do with learning a dolphin and a bull for this event - a dolphin is fine c/o Thelmas CD but I don't know a good bull can anyone point me in the direction of some pics?

Thanks!

I did this event yesterday - only my 4th ever gig and it was quite nerve wracking! I decided to make it easier for myself and made a menu of all the things I was prepared to make for the event - at least that way I was able to ensure I would be able to make all the models I was asked for.

I ended up making lots of monkeys on trees - they were the biggest hit. I also made lots of Thelmas dolphins which were a big hit - thanks so much Thelma. Other models I made were parrot on a perch, pigs, snakes and a couple of ducks. I was only needed for an hour and I had to work fast and furiously in that time but it was really enjoyable and the people were really happy.

Its got me all excited about balloons again and i've set about practising a bit more again. One thing I was asked for though that I couldn't even attempt was a hedgehog! Has anyone ever made one of them?
